The Too Faced Sweet Peach palette has had so much hype around it from the minute it was released in 2016.
Ever since it’s release I’ve been looking at getting it but always found some other form of makeup to buy. I’ll willingly admit, I do go on about wanting it. Yet, I couldn’t justify spending that amount of money on a palette that I have to buy myself. Too Faced is an American brand who have multiple eyeshadow palettes that are loved by makeup lovers and MUA’s alike. Owning only one other eyeshadow palette by Too Faced and knowing how amazing that was, I couldn’t turn the opportunity of getting it. I finally got it for Christmas off my boyfriend and I have used it more or less every day since.
The palette consists of mainly pink, peach and a few brown shades. The whole point of the colours is that they represent all the colours of a peach and they actually do. What’s even better is that it even smells like peaches too!
From matte pinks to shimmery greens and everything in between.
If you’re looking for a quality palette that will blend your shadow like no other, then I’d definitely recommend this. There is just so much right with it, from the pigment of all the shades to the mix of different formulas. It’s not often you enjoy all of the colours in a palette, but I can honestly say there isn’t an eyeshadow in it that I wouldn’t wear out. Too Faced stepped up their game when they released this, and that’s why I had to try it out for myself and see if it really was worth the hype. I wouldn’t say I’m reviewing this palette, it’s more a post of me raving about how good it is, and asking myself how did I ever live without it.
If you’re not into makeup, then you’ll never understand the hype behind certain brands or products, but I’ve always loved experimenting with makeup and try to understand why people buy certain things. I’ve never understood Kylie Jenner’s brand and the hype behind it but Too Faced is another level, trust me.
The Sweet Peach palette is 18 pigments, ranging from cool beige mattes to dark purple shimmery shades.
Whilst some of the eyeshadows even have sparkles in the pigment itself, instead of a shimmer. There are so many transition shades as well as shades you can smoke your eye with if you want the natural, shimmery day look then you can get it with this palette, but you can also get your eyes prepped and ready with a green and orange smoky eye look if you’re feeling adventurous. My favourite colours are the ones shown in the picture on the left, from the top to bottom the colours are; Bless Her Heart, Bellini, Candied Peach, Just Peachy, and Luscious.
This palette gives you the opportunity to create an endless number of beautiful looks and although it’s £39 here in the UK, it’s worth every penny if you think you’ll use the colours! If you’re sat there wondering if you should take the plunge, I know the feeling – that was me for over a year and a half – it’s worth it. Overall, for quality, price, and packaging…
